Pumpkin Parade

Fall wouldn’t be complete without pumpkins, and they’re not just for carving. Consider creating a pumpkin parade on your porch or mantel. Paint them in various autumnal hues, arrange them in a row, and add fairy lights for a whimsical touch. You can also mix in some faux pumpkins for longevity and reuse year after year.

There are a plethora of ornamental pumpkins for sale making the decorating options endless.  No longer do you have to settle for boring orange pumpkins.  These small ornamental pumpkins create a beautiful display in a large lantern, on a mantel or island tray.  Or these adorable large white ornamental pumpkins, that come in a variety or sizes and colors.

These pottery barn dupe terra cotta pumpkins that I created with a few simple products are a quick easy and inexpensive addition to your home decor.

Enchanting Wreaths

Welcome guests with a seasonal wreath that sets the tone for your fall and Halloween decor. Opt for wreaths adorned with colorful leaves, pinecones, and even miniature witches’ brooms. Don’t forget to add a spooky twist with ghostly or witchy accents.

You can get creative with colors.  You won’t need to stick with black and white, consider adding purple, orange, or blue to your Halloween decorating.

Halloween can be spooky cute.  This skull wreath or this spooky ghost wreath are prime examples of creating spooky with a touch of pretty and cute.

These fall wreaths will look amazing on your door from September through November.  This beautiful straw wreath, or this neutral pumpkin wreath would make a beautiful addition to your home.  The pumpkin wreath is similar to the fall wreath I have had for years and still love.

Glowing Lanterns

Lighting is key to creating an eerie ambiance. Line your walkway with lanterns featuring creepy silhouettes, or place battery-operated candles inside for a haunting glow.  This adorable lantern comes in a set of 12 so you will have a beautifully lined walkway.

Your entryway is the first impression of your fall and Halloween spirit. Create an enchanting or spooky atmosphere.  Use fall leaves, and pumpkins, or drape fake cobwebs, adding eerie tombstones, and place skeletons or life-sized witches to greet your visitors.

This window frame that I have hanging in my small covered courtyard is the perfect anchor to seasonal decorating.  Adding elegant fall leaves in perfect for September or before Thanksgiving.  It would look so cute with a spider web and spiders. or black netting and bats.

Mystical Mantel

Transform your fireplace mantel into an elegant fall display or a bewitching focal point. Incorporate black candles, potion bottles, witch hats, and eerie artwork.

Black candles and candlesticks are spooky and elegant in one.  They’re so pretty you can have them displayed all year.

I found iron candlesticks like the ones I have.  The flameless candles are so nice to have on hand.  These ones are wax so they look and feel like candles.  I love my iron candlesticks and flameless wax candles on my mantel for the holidays.

Did you know you can find all kinds of screensavers for your TV on YouTube?  This was mind-blowing to me but makes decorating for all kinds of easy and fun.

Pumpkins Inside and Out

I love decorating with decor that will take you from one holiday to the next.  Decorative pumpkins are a great staple from September to December.  They look so good inside and outside.  Closer to Halloween you can spooky them up with netting and spiders or keep them elegant and classy.

I love my white stacking pumpkins, but muted-colored pumpkins are amazing too.  The best part about them is they are easy to store because they fit inside each other.
