The holidays are in full swing lets decorate your entryway table for Christmas. As a bonus we’ll create a hot chocolate charcuterie board.
My entryway is decently large with a long table that I love to decorate for the holidays. With a large table the options are endless.
Entryway Table Decor from Years Past
Every year I create something a little different. The last few years I had something a little more full and festive. They look amazing and are a lot of fun to put together.
I stick to a theme that ties in with the rest of my home, both in colors and style. Last year I was decorating in reds, white and gold and I was doing a bell theme so I carried that into the entryway. Plus other fun decor. You can check out last years entryway Christmas decorations here.
Modern and Elegant Design
This year I wanted something a little more understated and elegant. Definitely a holiday theme but less stuff. Taking the beautiful everyday decor and adding to it to create a modern elegant design.
Here is how to decorate your entryway table for the holidays. Too begin I changed up the florals in the gorgeous pots. Taking out the fall foliage and adding Christmas greens. This is a simple and quick change that takes your decorating from one season to the next.
The adorable pot that has large twigs I left the twigs and added just a little Christmas bling. I wanted the have the height from the sticks and didn’t want a full pot filled with bling. A subtle combination of twigs and Christmas bling was exactly what I was looking for. Here are a couple large bud vases that would look amazing on your entry table. Check them out here and here. Christmas Tree Farm
My favorite addition is the entryway table was adding a plethora of holidays trees in a variety of shapes, textures, styles and sizes. Some of the trees were made by me but most of them are just adorable pieces I’ve picked up over the years.
I love the variety of textures. I have trees that are wool, wooden, flocked and metal.
Together creating something unique and special. You can get the metal trees at my shop Decor to the Door. I love how modern and pretty they are with all the other trees. Here are some beautiful decorative trees that would look amazing on your entryway table. You can find them here and here. (affiliate link)
Putting it All Together
This is how I decorated my entryway table for Christmas. The changes were simple but made a huge difference in the festive feel of the entryway.
You can make a few changes or go for plethora of decor for an over the top festive look.
Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board
Christmas is the perfect time to enjoy hot chocolate and creating a beautiful charcuterie board is a fun holiday tradition.
Starting with my adorable Santa mugs and pitcher, creates a beautiful base for my charcuterie board.
I am using a gorgeous board that I pulled out of the dumpster and refinished. Then adding an adorable sled to make a tiered charcuterie effect. I also love the apothecary jars that are available in my shop as containers for marshmellows, peppermint sticks and hot chocolate. You can get your apothecary jars here.
Treats and Hot Chocolate Add Ons
To make the charcuterie board truly inspiring and fun I collect yummy and pretty pieces that will make the hot chocolate look and taste better. This time I stuck with a peppermint theme, whites and red.
There are so many goodies available. The hard part was narrowing down what I purchased. If you love sweet and salty like I do you are going to love the white chocolate covered pretzels and pretzel sticks. The chocolate spoons with peppermints are delicious and yummy. Here are some candy cane hot chocolate spoons that are so cute. You can get the white chocolate peppermint pretzels here. Grab some snowflake marshmellows here. You’ll be well on your way to creating a beautiful hot chocolate charcuterie board.
Putting it all together creates a beautiful and fun charcuterie board experience for your guests.
Creating something pretty makes getting together for the holidays so much fun. Your kids will love making their yummy hot chocolate.
