Paint is magical.  The most economical and easiest way to update your home.  Thirty years ago every room had a theme and different color.  Some homes even had different colored carpet in every room.  For a high end look start by choosing colors that flow through out your home.  My home has one main color with a couple of accents for added interest and design.  A way to make rooms unique and fit the personality of the one in the room is with a bold color accent wall.  Tying in the main colors helps the accent colors flow.

I love this color it it the perfect combination of elegant dark green and grey.  Lighting will effects the look of the color, sometimes the green is more dominate than the grey. Thunderous from Sherwin Williams is a beautiful elegant color that looks amazing in all the spaces it has been painted in my home.

A geometric pattern accent wall looks so pretty as long as you choose your colors wisely.  It takes more time but when done well you have a beautiful wall that reflects your personality and style. Geometric walls are really fun in a child’s room.  You can be creative and design something beautiful. You can be creative in the direction you hang the paneling or the color it is painted.  In my home it was kept the same color as our trim and doors for a monochromatic look, but it would look amazing painted a bold color.
